ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the investigation of Crime No.171 of 2019 dated 13.05.2019 pending on the file of the respondent herein to CBCID or to any other competent Central Investigating Agency and to consequently direct that investigating agency to investigate by registering appropriate case and file the final report within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that the as against the crime, an FIR has been registered for the offence under Sections 420 and 506(ii) IPC. Since huge amount has been involved, the entire investigation can be transferred.

3. Considering the above facts and circumstances, the entire investigation in Crime No.171 of 2019 is hereby withdrawn from the file of the respondent and the same has been transferred to file of the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Tiruvarur. On receipt of the entire case proceedings, the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Tiruvarur is directed to complete the investigation and file the final report within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Superintendent of Police, Tiruvarur is directed to monitor the investigation to be done by the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Tiruvarur.

4. With the above observations, this Criminal Original petition is allowed.
