O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 01.11.2019, wherein, the petitioner has sought for re-conveyance of the subject property.
2.It is seen from records that the lands have been acquired as early as in the year 1962 from the grandfather of the petitioner. The grievance of the petitioner is that the lands have not been put to use and no compensation was paid to him. 3.Heard Mr.T.Ramachandran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.D.Raja, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 5. 4.In the considered view of this Court, the petitioner does not have any right to claim for re-conveyance of the property or compensation. If at all there was no compensation paid, complaint was not made either by the grandfather or the father of the petitioner and for the first time, the petitioner is making such a complaint. The petitioner wants re-conveyance of the land which was acquired nearly 60 years back. This Court is not able to find any merit in the present writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Sd/- Assistant Registrar // True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar mkn
