ORDER
The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to issue patta to the petitioner in respect of the lands comprised in S.No.193/3C, 207/6A, 224/4, 198/2 and 199/2, ad-measuring 40.5 ares situated at Pulivalam Village, Sholingar, Ranipet District, by considering petitioner's representation dated 18.07.2022 and his online application for patta transfer in application No.2021/0103/37/211020 dated 16.12.2021.
2. Insofar as the land comprised in S.Nos.193/3C, 207/6A, 224/4, 198/2 and 199/2 ad-measuring 40.5 ares situated at Pulivalam Village, Sholingar, Ranipet District, it is a claim of the petitioner that the said property belongs to the great grand-father of the petitioner, in whose name patta was issued, subsequently the property has been inherited by the petitioner's father and subsequently by the petitioner and other legal heirs. Though the legal heirs including the mother of the petitioner had given a release deed in favour of the petitioner, based on which, when the petitioner approached the second respondent Tahsildar to issue patta in the name of the petitioner, for which he made an on-line application on 2/5
16.12.2021 that has not been considered. Therefore, he has given a representation on 18.07.2022, even that also since has not been considered, the petitioner approached this Court by filing the present writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.
3. Reiterating the aforesaid Mr.C.Harish, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks indulgence of this Court.
4. Heard Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, who would submit that the said representation along with on-line application submitted by the petitioner would be considered and necessary orders to that effect on merits and in accordance with law would be passed by the respondent Tahsildar within a time frame that may stipulated by this Court.
5. Considering the said submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and having regard to the aforesaid factual matrix as projected by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition 3/5
with the following order:
That there shall be a direction to the respondents especially the second respondent to consider the application as well as the representation submitted by the petitioner on 18.07.2022 and pass necessary orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six(6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
