This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to grant permission for the Public Meeting and Route March to be held on 29.08.2025, at Anna Seerani Hall, Sulur. based on the petitioner's representation dated 03.10.2024

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is the contention of the petitioner that he made a representation dated 03.10.2024 before the respondents seeking permission to conduct public meeting and Route March which is to be held on 29.08.2025. Though the respondents acknowledged the receipt of the petitioner's representation, no order has been passed by them so far. Hence he filed the above writ petition.

4. The petitioner even without waiting and getting order/reply from the respondents that too for the function which is to be held in the year 2025, he rushed to the court seeking direction to the respondents. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed as premature. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 18.11.2024 mfa Index:Yes/No Speaking Order: Yes/No To
