ORDER

The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to survey and measure the vacant land ad measuring 0 Acre 12 cents in Survey No.226/15A out of total extent of 0.05.0 Ares and ad measuring 0 Acre 23 cents in Survey No.226/16A out of total extent of 0.09.5 Ares, totally 0 Acre 35 cents bearing patta No.5769, situated in Nemili Union, Sayanapuram Panchayat, Sayanapuram Village, Nemili Taluk, within Sub Registration of Nemili and Registration District of Ranipet, Ranipet District and lay the boundary stone with the help of police protection, if required.

In order to survey the land at Survey Nos.226/15A & 226/16A situated at Nemili Union, Sayanapuram Panchayat, Sayanapuram Village, Nemili Taluk, within Sub Registration of Nemili and Registration District of Ranipet, Ranipet District, the petitioner had given application on 03.10.2022 to the respondents and on that day, the necessary fee also had been paid.

3. In order to consider the said application for survey and measure 2/4

the land to identify the four boundaries, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Heard Mr.S.Vijayanand, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

5. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the said application submitted by the petitioner would be considered and the needful would be undertaken within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

6. Having considered the said stand taken by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order: That there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the application of the petitioner dated 03.10.2022 and do the needful as claimed therein within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order R.SURESH KUMAR, J.
