PRAYER: Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed under Section 528 BNSS, 2023, to extend the time granted by this Court by order dated 30.06.2025 in Crl.M.P.No.12465 of 2025 in Crl.R.C.No.928 of 2025 that the petitioner shall deposit the entire cheque amount Rs.1,30,000 (Rupees one Lakh thirty thousand only) after deducting the amount which, was already deposited by the petitioner, if any to the credit of S.T.C.No.525 of 2017 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, FTC-II @ ML, Coimbatore within a period of four weeks from to day.

ORDER

This petition is filed to extend the time granted by this Court by order dated 30.06.2025 in Crl.M.P.No.12465 of 2025 in Crl.R.C.No.928 of 2025 that "the petitioner shall deposit the entire cheque amount Rs.1,30,000 (Rupees One Lakh Thirty Thousand only), after deducting the amount which was already Page No.1/4

deposited by the petitioner, if any, to the credit of S.T.C.No.525 of 2017 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, FTC-II @ Magisterial Level, Coimbatore, within a period of four weeks from today".

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondent.

3. The petitioner had deposited a sum of Rs.65,000/-, being 50% of the cheque amount of Rs.1,30,000/-, while preferring the appeal before the Trial Court. The petitioner seeks two weeks time to deposit the balance cheque amount of Rs.65,000/-.

4. In view of the request made by the petitioner, the petitioner is directed to deposit Rs.65,000/- within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such deposit, the respondent is permitted to withdraw the entire cheque amount by filing an affidavit undertaking that in case the petitioner succeeds, he shall return the same.

5. The learned counsel on the either side would submit that the parties can be referred to the Mediation Centre attached to the District Court, Coimbatore, as regards any other claim of the respondent. Page No.2/4

6. The parties shall appear before the District Mediation Centre at Coimbatore on 03.03.2026. The Medical Centre shall complete the process and file a report with a period of six weeks thereafter.
