This contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondent for his alleged wilful violation of the order passed by this Court in C.R.P. No. 992 of 2023 dated 11.04.2023.

2.Learned counsel for the petitioner and the respondent by name Mr. S. Ganesh Kumar are present. It is reported by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the respondent has vacated the premises as directed and handed over the vacant portion to the petitioner. 3.It is further submitted that the respondent has now come forward to pay all the arrears by way of demand draft. The respondent has brought the demand draft for a sum of Rs.70,650/- drawn on Punjab National Bank in favour of the petitioner and the same was handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioner in open Court. Since the directions of this Court have been complied with by the respondent, no purpose would be served to continue this contempt petition. 4.Accordingly, this contempt petition is closed. 05.01.2024 ay Index: Yes/No Speaking Order / Non-Speaking Order 2/3
