Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 herein to grant adequate police protection to the Petitioner-Company, namely, M/s.Asahi India Glass Limited, Plot.F 76 to 81, SIPCOT Industrial Park, Irrungattukottai, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kanchipuram District - 602 117, in carrying out their day to day business activities
and further protect the ingress and egress of all vehicles from in and out of factory premises, including Company vehicles commuting the Petitioner's workers from all pick and drop points. ORDER
The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 herein to grant adequate police protection to the Petitioner-Company, namely, M/s.Asahi India Glass Limited, Plot.F 76 to 81, SIPCOT Industrial Park, Irrungattukottai, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kanchipuram District - 602 117, in carrying out their day to day business activities and further protect the ingress and egress of all vehicles from in and out of factory premises, including Company vehicles commuting the Petitioner's workers from all pick and drop points 2.
Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the prayer sought for by the petitioner has now become infructuous and hence nothing survives in the writ petition.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition stands dismissed as having become infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
