The petitioner herein is an accused in S.C. No.139 of 2021 on the file of the District and Sessions Judge, at Mayiladuthurai. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner was secured after the issuance of a Non-Bailable Warrant. Dr.G.JAYACHANDRAN, J.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police, opposed the grant of bail to the petitioner and submitted that the trial has been delayed due to the petitioner's abscondence. He further submitted that if the petitioner released on bail, he may again absconding.

3. Considering the nature of the offence and the conduct of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
