PRAYER This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent herein to consider the petitioner representation dated on 14.06.2024 through Tamil Nadu Police, CCTNS - Citizen Portal Complaint No.EAM 24261894 within stipulated time fixed by this Hon'le Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the 2 nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that on the false promise made by the respondents 3 and 4, in the year 2013, he had purchased two plots in survey Nos.55 and 56 (1200+1200 sq.ft) situated in survey no.5A1 at Arasanimangalam village, Uthiramerur. When he applied for mutation of patta, he came to know that most of the said land falls within Survey No.4A1 and the 2/4

owner of the plot in Survey No4A1 is another person. Hence, he lodged a complaint before the 2 nd respondent police through online portal. However, no action has been taken so far. Hence, he seeks a direction.

3. Whereas the learned Government Advocate(crl.side) on instructions, submit that the complaint given by the petitioner has already been enquired into and the same was closed.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the view that the petitioner can very well file a private complaint before the concerned Judicial Magistrate as against the accused.

5. With the above directions,this Writ petition (crl.) stands disposed of. 10-09-2025 mrp 3/4
