ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the Respondent for his wilful and intentional disobedience to the order passed by this Court in W.P.No. 9991 of 2021 dated 18.03.2024.

2. When the matter is taken up today, the respondent appeared in-person before this Court.

3. The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondent furnished the proceedings dated 24.10.2025 passed by the respondent and submitted that the order of this Court has been complied.

4. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the order has been complied only with regard to the revision of wages and not on the part of regularization.

5. Despite there is a positive direction to accommodate the petitioner in regular vacancy, the learned Additional Advocate General submitted that it is only within the discretion of the Government to consider the same. The

Government will take into consideration of the regularization of the petitioner's long service.

5. In view of the same, the order dated 18.03.2024 has been complied. So far as the regularization of the petitioner is concerned, the petitioner is given with liberty to challenge the order if he intends to do so.

6. With the above observation, this Contempt Petition is closed. No costs. Connected sub-application is closed.
