Prayer: Petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondent herein for his wilful disobedience and non-compliance of the orders of this Court made in WP.No.15209 of 2024, dated 18.03.2025, under the provisions of the Contempt of Courts Act.

ORDER
The petitioner had filed WP.No.15209 of 2024, for the following relief:
"To call for the entire records relating to the impugned order passed by the 3rd respondent in his proceedings Na.Ka.No.12/2022/Vidhi.3 (B), dated 29.04.2024 and quash the same and consequently directing the respondents to disburse the petitioner's all retirement benefits as well as pension together with interest to the petitioner."
2. This Court, while disposing of the writ petition vide order dated 18.03.2025, had directed the 1st respondent to disburse the pensionary benefits consequent to the proposals put up on 13.03.2024 in C.No.F1/PR.No.12/2022, within a period of three months, from the 2/6
date of receipt of copy of the order. Further, it was ordered that if there is a delay in disbursement of the benefits, interest would necessarily have to be paid and that would only cause additional loss to the Government and hence, to avoid delay and consequential loss, an order must be passed by the 1st respondent at the earliest, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of the order.
3. Contending that the aforesaid order of this Court has not been complied with, the present contempt petition has been filed.
4. When this matter was taken up today, Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondent submitted that pursuant to the orders passed by this Court, the 1st respondent, by order dated 10.09.2025, had directed the 3rd respondent, in the writ petition, to comply with the order and to disburse the pensionary benefits to the petitioner.
5. He would further submit that, pursuant to the same, the 3rd 3/6
respondent passed a proceeding dated 30.09.2025 and had forwarded the same to the office of the Accountant General (A&E), Tamil Nadu, Chennai - 18 and since there were certain queries raised by the Accountant General (A&E), Tamil Nadu, a reply was sent by proceedings dated 08.10.2025, in RC.No.D2/6001122/2023. He further reiterated that the order of this Court has been complied with in letter and spirit.
6. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the records.
7. A perusal of the records shows that this Court's order has been complied with and the matter is now with the Accountant General (A&E), Tamil Nadu, Chennai - 18, for further consideration. Therefore, no contempt is made out.

8. The Accountant General (A&E), Tamil Nadu, Chennai - 18, is directed to process the petitioner's application for pensionary benefits, at the earliest.
9. Recording the above, this contempt petition is closed. No costs.
