Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents herein to produce the petitioner's son, namely, Nataraj, Male, aged about 17 years, S/o Kanapathi, before this Hon'ble Court and hand over him to the petitioner.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.S.SUNDAR,J.) Pursuant to the notice, the respondents have produced before this Court the detenu.

2. The detenu, who is present before this Court, has now expressed his willingness to go with his father, the petitioner.

3. The detenu is a 17 year old minor. Though his whereabouts with the relative of the detenu is found, this Court finds from the statement of the detenu that the detenu had stayed away from the father due to personal reasons and that he is now willing to go with the father.

4. Recording the same, finding that the detenu is not in illegal custody, this habeas corpus petition is closed. Index : yes/no (S.S.S.R.,J.) (S.M.,J.) 19.12.2023
