ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings pending in C.C.No.159 of 2019 on the file of the Additional District
Munsif-Cum-Judicial Magistrate Court, Karaikal, and all further proceedings pursuant thereto as against the petitioner.
2.Learned Government Advocate (Puducherry) appearing for the first respondent police submitted that the trial in this case has already been commenced and out of ten (10) witnesses, eight (8) have been examined. He further submitted that the case is now posted for examination of L.W.9 on 13.02.2026.
3.Since trial in this case has already commenced, the petition for quashing the proceedings cannot be entertained at this stage. This Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed accordingly. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
