O R D E R

This petition is filed to direct the 3rd respondent to remove the petitioner's name in respect of History sheeted No: 119 of 2018 based on the RC No:133410-1/Crime4(3)/2020 dated 22.07.2020 maintained by the 3rd respondent as per order of the 2nd respondent.

2. When the matter is taken up, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the Superintendent of Police, Namakkal District received a letter from the District Collector, Namakkal with a copy of the petitioner's petition dated 21.03.2022 for removing his name from the history sheeter list. Appropriate orders would be passed by the respondents as early as possible.

3. In light of the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.03.2022 and pass appropriate orders in the manner known to law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
