The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for alleged offences punishable under Sections 123 of BNS Act and read with under Section 24(1) of COTPA Act, 2003, in Crime No.151 of 2025, on 1/4

the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. It is second anticipatory bail petition. It is alleged that there was seizure of 210 kg of tobacco products. The arrested persons have implicated this petitioner as the mastermind behind the crime.

3. The Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the co-accused granted bail and that is the change of circumstances in this case, which has prompted to file the second anticipatory bail application.

4. Considering the above facts of the case and the statement of the coaccused, this petitioner, being the crime behind the crime, is likely to abscond and there is every possibility of recurrence of the crime.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 15.09.2025 bsm To,
