..Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned letter Na / Ka/ 3785 / 2021 / A6 dated 08.12.2022 issued by the 2nd respondent and consecutively direct the respondents to extend the time period of the further proceedings of the same. With reference to the letter dated 08.12.2022 issued by the Commissioner, Panchayat Union, Salem, the learned Additional Government Pleader on instructions would submit that the Authorities conducted field inspection and survey and identified encroachments.

2. That being the factum, the respondents are directed to initiate all appropriate enforcement actions to ensure that the encroachments are removed by following the procedures as contemplated under the relevant statutes and Rules in force, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
