Respondents Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of mandamus directing the 5th respondent to consider and dispose of the Original Application No.1488 of 2018 pending on the file of the Central Administrative Tribunal, Madras Bench, Madras within time limit to be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J.,] (1)The present writ petition is filed to advance the hearing of OA.No.1488/2018 pending on the file of the Central Administrative Tribunal, Chennai Bench and give a disposal

at an early date.

(2)This Court, on an earlier occasion, has called for the report from the Registry of the Central Administrative Tribunal / 5th respondent herein, and it was reported that even the Original Applications filed during the year 2013, are pending.

(3)The writ petitioner / Original Applicant is aged about 33 years and the Original Application is of the year 2018 and therefore, this Court cannot issue any positive direction or give priority to advance the hearing and take up the Original Application out of turn for final disposal. (4)The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that for advance the hearing of the Original application, the writ petitioner has already filed an application before the 5th respondent / Tribunal.

(5)In view of the said submission, the 5th respondent / Tribunal is requested to give a disposal to the said application filed for advancing the hearing of the Original Application, as expeditiously as possible.

(6)The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
