Prayer : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the final report dated 25.02.2015 filed by the 6th respondent before the Executive Magistrare-2, Mambalam in Crime No.1140/2013 and Quash the same and consequently direct the Respondents 1 & 2 to order for a Reinvestigation in Crime No.1140/2013 by an independent agency other than Chennai City Police and file final report before the Jurisdictional Metropolitan Magistrate within a reasonable time frame fixed by this Court.

The writ petition has been filed to quash the the final report dated 25.02.2015 filed by the 6th respondent in Crime No.1140/2013 and direct the Respondents 1 & 2 to order for a reinvestigation by an independent agency.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner died therefore nothing survives in this petition.

3. In view of the submission of the learned Counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No Costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
