The petitioner herein, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 4(1)(A) of the 1/4

Tamil Nadu Prohibition (Amendment) Act, 2024 r/w Section 24 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act in Crime No.274 of 2025 on the file of the respondent, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused persons were found in illegal possession of various items of liquor and they sold the same in black at night time after the liquor shops get closed. Hence, the case.

3.This Court vide order dated 05.08.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.21048 of 2025 dismissed the earlier anticipatory bail petition filed by the petitioner. Now, once again, the very same submissions had been reiterated before this Court.

4.Considering the bad antecedents of the petitioner and there is no change in circumstances, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 18.09.2025 smv 2/4
