O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to conduct enquiry on the petitioner's appeal in No.2017/9005/01/988640/1129 preferred as against the order passed by the second respondent. 2.The case of the petitioner is that at the instigation of one Jayaraman, the legal heirship certificate issued in favour of the petitioner was cancelled by the second respondent and challenging the same, the petitioner preferred appeal before the first respondent and since the same has not yet been disposed of, has filed this writ petition.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue direction to the first respondent to conduct enquiry on the petitioner's appeal and to pass appropriate orders within a reasonable time frame.

4.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to conduct 2/4

enquiry on the petitioner's appeal in accordance with law and after providing opportunity to the necessary parties, pass appropriate orders, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
