By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's father while working as Office Assistant in Education Department died on 29.12.1997. Immediately after the death of the petitioner's

father, the petitioner made representation on 20.04.2000 for compassionate appointment, and thereafter also several representations were made. Subsequently, original documents were forwarded by the District Elementary Education Officer to the District Education Officer in proceedings Na.Ka.No.3212 / 2011/ A1 dated 07.10.2011, but no order was passed. Thereafter the petitioner also made a representation on 08.09.2018, on which also no order has been passed. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

3.Heard both sides.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the letter in proceedings Na.Ka.No.3212 / 2011/ A1 dated 07.10.2011 and pass orders, within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

5.Though the petitioner has sought for a larger relief, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the letter in proceedings Na.Ka.No.3212 / 2011/ A1 dated 07.10.2011 forwarded by the District Elementary Education Officer and also the representation of the petitioner dated 08.09.2018 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, if no order has been passed so far.

6.With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
