The petitioner/A2 who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 29.09.2023 for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act in Crime No.216 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.It is stated by the learned counsel that A1 had been granted bail and he was found in possession of 1.250 Kgs of Ganja. However, it is stated by the prosecution that it is this petitioner who supplies the Ganja. It is also stated that there are 28 previous cases against the petitioner herein, primarily under the COTPA Act, 2003.

3.Taking all these factors into consideration, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner herein. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
