This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for non compliance of the order dated 14.09.2022 passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.22098 of 2022, thereby directing the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.1493 of 2021 pending on his file and file a final report within a period of eight weeks.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the as directed by this Court, the respondent completed investigation in Crime No.1493 of 2021 and filed final report and the same has been taken cognizance in C.C.No. 37 of 2023 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ambattur.
