O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner seeking for regularization of her service and for calculating her pensionary benefits and for consequential monetary benefits.

The petitioner was appointed in the respondent Corporation as a typist on temporary basis in the year 1987. She was retrenched from service in the year 2000 in view of the closure of the Corporation. Thereafter, the Government of Tamil Nadu intervened and persons similarly placed like the petitioner were reposted to various departments. The petitioner was appointed in the year 2007 as a typist in the office of Salem District Collectorate. The petitioner was transferred from service to various departments thereafter. In the year 2009, the petitioner was terminated from service by the second respondent and the petitioner filed a Writ Petition before this Court. Pursuant to the order passed by this Court, the petitioner was appointed as a typist in Salem (Highways), Project Division and she continued with her services. In the year 2017, the petitioner was promoted as Deputy State Tax Officer and she was transferred to the office of the Assistant Commissioner (District), Hosur.

The petitioner has given a representation dated 03.09.2019 to all the respondents seeking for regularization of her service with the Corporation. Inspite of receipt of the representation, since the same was not considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court. 4.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ present, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation dated 03.09.2019 given by the petitioner and deal with the same on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

The petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation along with a copy of this order and also a copy of the representation dated 16.11.2019 to the first respondent. 6.

The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
