Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents herein from in anyway preventing the petitioner from discharging her duties as Masalji in the 2nd respondent office and consequently issue a suitable direction to the respondents to pay salary continuously along with arrears of salary for 13 months and 10 days.

ORDER

The Court places its deep appreciation to Mr.T.K.Saravanan, learned Government Advocate forwarded instructions received from the Tashildar, Kurinjipadi Taluk in Na.Ka.A1/2749/2023 dated 23.09.2023, wherein, it had been stated that the issue raised by the petitioner had been addressed and that the petitioner was entitled to a total sum of Rs.1,37,542/- and that the petitioner had been paid a sum of Rs.60,000/- and that there is a balance of Rs.77,542/- and that would be paid within a period of four weeks and necessary papers have been forwarded to the District Collector, Cuddalore District.

2.Let necessary orders be passed by the respondents within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Though in the instructions given they have committed to pay the amount within a period of four weeks, to provide for any administrative delay the Court is granting eight weeks of outer time limit.
