Prayer : Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to conduct and pass appropriate order under Section 205 of the Tamil Nadu Panchayat Act, 1994 as against the 4th respondent for misdeeds, misappropriation of village Panchayat funds by considering the petitioners representation dated 28.04.2022 followed by notices dated 30.08.2023 and 03.07.2024 and grant such other relief. ORDER
I am not inclined to issue any Mandamus to the respondents since the duty of the 1st respondent is to initially depute the 2nd respondent to conduct a preliminary enquiry and on the basis of the same conduct further enquiry under Section 205 of the Panchayat Act, 1994. A Mandamus need not be issued in this aspect since I am confident that the officials would discharge their duty in the manner known to law.
