The petitioner is A3 in Crime No.33 of 2023, registered by the respondent for the offences punishable under Sections 436, 511 @ 436, 511 of IPC r/w Section 3 of Explosive Substances Act. The petitioner had been taken into custody on 13.10.2023.

2.It is stated that A1 and A2 had been detained under Act 14 of 1982, and thereafter, the said detention order had been revoked. 3.It is stated that the incident had taken place on 14.04.2023. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner is the President of the Tamil Nadu Farmer's Association at Jedarpalayam and is the father of the 2nd accused. It is also stated that owing to the murder of one young girl, all the villagers had taken issues in their own hands and proceeded to cut substantial number of trees in the farm of the defacto complainant.

5.So far as this particular case is concerned, it is stated that the accused persons had thrown petrol bomb on the farm of the defacto complainant.

6.The learned counsel for the petitioner also stated that this Court had granted bail/anticipatory bail to several of the accused, who were involved in cutting of trees. But it cannot be a chain event where one after the other, the accused caused damage and seek relief from this Court.

7.In view of all these factors, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner herein at this stage. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
