ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed seeking to punish the respondents for wilful disobedience of the order of this court dated 03.03.2023 in W.P.No.6674 1/3

of 2023.

2. The Contemnor is present and Mr.J.Ravindran, learned Additional Advocate General submitted that Compliance Report signed by the respondent indicating that the Orders have been complied and building permit has been issued. Besides, the undertaking is also given, in writing that in future, they will not reject application on the ground of Rule 7(2) of the Tamil Nadu District Municipalities (Hill Stations) Building Rules, 1994. The said undertaking is recorded. The learned Additional Advocate General also submitted that in future applications will not be rejected on the ground of Rule 7(2) of the Tamil Nadu District Municipalities (Hill Stations) Building Rules, 1994. His statement is recorded.

3. Since, the Order of this Court has been complied with, this contempt petition stands closed. No costs.
