Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, directing to call for the records of the 2nd respondent culminated in the Refusal Check Slip No.RFL/Periamet/104/2024 dated 28.10.2024 and quash the same and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to register the sale deed presented by 1/4
the petitioners through their power Agent without insisting upon the production of the original parent documents.

ORDER
The above writ petition has been filed questioning the refusal on the part of the second respondent to register the sale deed dated 28.10.2024 executed by the petitioner through their power agent Arasi Suresh in favour of one Vijay Gurudasan. The reason for the refusal is that the original document had not been filed. This issue is no longer res integra, in the light of the various orders of this Court which clearly states that the registring authority cannot deny registration or refuse to register on the ground that the original document has not been filed. The petitioner has produced the copies of the documents along with writ petition.
2.Considering the above, the writ petition is allowed. The order passed by the refusal cheques slip is set aside and the 2nd respondent is directed to register the sale deed within a period of two weeks from the date of 2/4
receipt of a copy of this order.
