PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.11.2019 and cancel the appointment order issued in favour of the fourth respondent, in the post of Panchayat Secretary, at Thachampattu 1/4

Village, for violation of the conditions stipulated in the Notification Na.Ka.No.954/2018/UA3 dated 26.08.2018 issued by the Special Officer/Block Development Officer (B.P.) and to consequently conduct a re-interview for appointment of an eligible candidate in the post of Panchayat Secretary at Thachampattu Village.

The prayer in the present Writ Petition is to direct the respondents 1 to 3 herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.11.2019 for cancelling the appointment order of the fourth respondent to the post of Panchayat Secretary, at Thachampattu Village and to conduct a re-interview for appointment of an eligible candidate in the said post.

2. Heard Mr.C.Prakasam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.T.Chezhiyan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3.

3. It is now brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner had subsequently challenged the appointment order of the fourth respondent in W.P.No.27304 of 2022. While that being so, no effective orders can be passed in the present Writ Petition challenging the same.

4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands closed. It is needless to point out that if the petitioner have any grievance, it is also open to him to agitate the same in W.P.No.27304 of 2022. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
