This petition has been filed to enlarge the petitioner on bail CC No. 16 of 2024 pending trial on the file of the Additional District Judge/Presiding Officer, Special Court for EC Act cases, Coimbatore.

2. The case of the prosecution is that A1 and A2 were found to be in possession of 50.50 kgs of Ganja and based on their confession A3/petitioner herein impleaded in this case.

Hence the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that based on the confession of A1 and A2, the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and for the past eleven months the petitioner is in custody and investigation has been completed in this case. Further, A1 and A2 released on bail. Hence, he prayed to allow this petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) submits that the petitioner sold the contraband to A1 and A2 and also the contraband seized from the petitioner is commercial quantity. Hence, he raised objection to grant bail.
