Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to release the amount of Rs.65 lakhs sanctioned to the petitioner by the 1st respondent with regard to additional cash credit limit facility and credit the amount of the petitioner of the said amount immediately within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court and consequently direct the 1st respondent to pay interest at 24% p.a. on the sanctioned amount of Rs.65 lakhs from 06.05.2015 i.e. from the date of registration of MODTD on sanction of the said facility by 1/4

the 1st respondent till date of payment and direct the 1st respondent to pay a compensation of Rs.5,00,000/- towards the non-crediting of the sanctioned amount to the petitioner.

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to release the amount of Rs.65 lakhs sanctioned to the petitioner by the 1st respondent with regard to additional cash credit limit facility and credit the amount of the petitioner of the said amount immediately.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up, there was no representation for the petitioner. It seems that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the matter any further. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed for nonprosecution. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs.
