.Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of Indiafor issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to take appropriate action on the petitioner's representation dated 30.11.2022 for the issuance of the legal heirs certificate of Petitioners deceased husband Mr.Kannappan specifying the names of the legal heirs of him as setout in Paragraph no.6 of the Affidavit.

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to respondents to consider her representation dated 30.11.2022 seeking issuance of legal heirship certificate for the petitioner's deceased husband Mr.Kannappan specifying the names of his legal heirs as set out in Paragraph No.6 of the Affidavit.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that her husband died on 31.12.2011 leaving behind the petitioner herein, her three children and two other children of deceased 1st wife. The petitioner submitted a representation on 30.11.2022 seeking issuance of legal heirship certificate and the same has not been considered. Hence, she is before this Court.

3. Mr.R.Neelakandan, learned Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr.V.Ramesh, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents, 2/4

submits that if proper online application is filed by the petitioner, the request of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with the law.

4. In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, she is directed to file appropriate online application for issue of legal heirship certificate within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If any such online application is filed, the 3rd respondent shall consider the same and pass final orders on its' own merits within a period of six weeks thereafter.
