This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to provide police protection to the life of the petitioner and his minor son Rajesh.

2. When the matter is taken up, the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) for the first respondent submitted that the petitioner has not given any representation before the first respondent, regarding police protection. If any representation is given by the petitioner, the first respondent will consider the representation of the petitioner.

3. In the light of the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to give a representation to the first respondent, seeking police protection.
