ORDER
The Revision Petitioner herein is the defendant in the suit and against him, the respondent/plaintiff filed a suit in O.S.No.141 of 2021 on the file of District Munsif, Ambattur seeking for the relief of permanent injunction restraining the defendant not to evict except under due process of law. The Revision Petitioner appeared and filed her written statement and now the suit is riped for trial long back and even the matter was referred to Lok Adalat, it was not settled. As a landlord, he has filed a suit in O.S.No. 5528 of 2021 and the same is pending before the court, due to which, so far, the suit was not disposed of and there is no progress in the trial. Therefore, he wanted to direct the trial court to dispose the case as early as possible.
2. Since the relief claimed by the Revision Petitioner only seeking a direction for a speedy disposal, the notice to the respondents is dispensed with.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances and also the fact that now the case is riped for trial and it is a suit for limited relief and so far there is no progress in the trial, this Court is inclined to direct the trial 2/4
judge to commence the trial and dispose the case as expeditiously as possible within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
