This petition is filed to condone the delay of 390 days in filing the appeal.

2.Mr.J.Michael Visuvasam, learned counsel takes notice for the second respondent. The first respondent is the owner of the offending vehicle, and he remained exparte before the Tribunal.

3. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition stands allowed and the Registry is directed to number the appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order.

4. In the eventuality of the petitioners/appellants succeeding in the appeal, interest may have to be reckoned only from the date on which the appeal is numbered.
