The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioners Application for Sub Division Patta Transfer dated 07.06.2022 within stipulated period consequently direct the respondent to 1 / 4

issue a patta in Survey No.186/10 old Patta No.1041 Vacant land measured at 10 1/2 cents 4578 sq.feet at Thendankuruchi Village Titagudi Taluk Cuddalore District to the petitioner.

2. In respect of the property at Survey No.186/10 old Patta No.1041 Vacant land measured at 10 1/2 cents 4578 sq.feet at Thendankuruchi Village Titagudi Taluk Cuddalore District, the petitioner has made an application through online on 07.06.2022 for survey and subdivision and issuance of patta and necessary fee has also been paid by the petitioner on the same day. Despite the same, since the application has so far not been considered, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition.

3. Heard Mr.S.L.Venkatesan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

4. Learned Special Government Pleader would submit that the said application of the petitioner would be considered and decided on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court. 2 / 4

Considering the limited scope of the prayer and having regard to the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order. " That there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 07.06.2022 for survey and subdivision and issuance of patta, and pass necessary orders thereon within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
