The present miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 150 days in representing the Criminal Appeal SR No.13625 of 2023 against the order dated 23.11.2022 relating only to the offences under Sec.494 of IPC and Section 3 (1) Z of the SC & ST (POA) Act, in the appeal.

2. Heard Mr.Vai.Shanmugham, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.G.V.Kasthuri, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

3. Having satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition stands allowed.

4. Registry is directed to number the Criminal Appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order and list the same for admission.
