This petition is filed to condone the delay of 112 days in filing the appeal as against the award dated 6.4.2023 and made in MACTOP.No.361 of 2018 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, II Additional Subordinate Judge, Cuddalore.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/appellant and the second respondent.

3.Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the delay of 112 days in filing the appeal is condoned, subject to the waiver of interest for the delay period and the petition is accordingly, allowed.

4.The Registry is directed to number the appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order.
