PRAYER:-Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of india, praying for an issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd and 3rd respondent to measure the petitioners properties in Survey Nos.385/2,385/3, 385/4, 385/5, 385/10, 385/11, 385/12 and 385/13, land to an total extent of about 1 acre 32 cents in Siruvachur North village, Thalaivasal Taluk, Salem District by disposing of the petitioners online application dated 16.8.2025 vide petition No.2025/0123/08/012316 with the aid of the 4th respondent and the same within a time to be stipulated.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to measure the petitioner's properties in Survey Nos.385/2, 385/3, 385/4, 385/5, 385/10, 385/11, 385/12 and 385/13, land to an total extent
of about 1 acre 32 cents in Siruvachur North village, Thalaivasal Taluk, Salem District on the basis of the petitioner's application dated 16.08.2025 with the aid of the 4 th respondent.
2.Mrs.S.Indhu Bala, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.L.Baskaran, learned Government th respondent. By consent of both the Advocate takes notice on behalf of the 4 parties, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
3.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the petitioner made an application on 16.08.2025, to measure the petitioner's property, till date the same has not been considered by the respondents 2 and 3. Hence, he prayed to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to consider and dispose of petitioner's application dated 16.08.2025.
4.Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 16.08.2025 will be considered and disposed of within four weeks. 5.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the 4 th respondent.
6.Considering the submission made by both the parties and in view of the limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the application of the petitioner dated 16.08.2025 and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing due notice to the obstructors, if any. It is needless to state that, if there is any obstruction for measuring the petitioner's land, the respondents 2 and 3 shall complete the process with the aid of the 4 th
respondent/Police. Such exercise shall be done by the respondents 2 and 3 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.With the aforesaid directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
