O R D E R

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 19.05.2017.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the 10th respondent is maintaining a 'well' adjacent to his property, which is causing inconvenience to him. The petitioner states that there is a threat on account of the 'well' digged by the 10th respondent and he made a representation to close the well. Such representations, in respect of the private disputes cannot be entertained in a writ proceeding. The petitioner is unable to establish that the 'well' situated in the premises of the 10th respondent is in violation of the law or

contrary to any of the regulations or otherwise issued by the Competent Authorities. In the absence of any such legal violation, the High Court in writ proceedings cannot grant relief. If at the petitioner is aggrieved, he is at liberty to approach the Competent Forum for appropriate remedy.

3. With this liberty, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
