By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's father while working as Head Constable died on 15.01.2008. Thereafter the petitioner's mother made representation to the first respondent on 07.10.2009 seeking compassionate ground

appointment. Thereafter the third respondent processed and forwarded the same to the second respondent by proceedings in Na.Ka.no.16588/Ka.Du.Tha/Va.Ma/2013 dated 03.10.2013, but no action was taken.

Therefore the petitioner made representation dated 14.09.2019 to the respondents, on which also action was not taken. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

3.Heard both sides.

4.Mr.M.Rajendiran, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the letter in proc.No.16588/Ka.Du.Tha/Va.Ma/2013 dated 03.10.2013 and pass orders, within a stipulated time fixed by this Court. 5.Though the petitioner has sought for a larger relief, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the letter in proc.No.16588/Ka.Du.Tha/Va.Ma/2013 dated 03.10.2013 of the third respondent and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
