O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to consider the representation dated 15/5/2017.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was running a quarry as per the license conditions, whereas the fourth respondent gave a false complaint. Third respondent has acted upon the false complaint and directed the petitioner to appear for enquiry and later, on the report filed by the officials, it is established that no violation has been made by the petitioner. Therefore, according to the petitioner, third respondent has colluded with the fourth respondent and caused harassment. Hence seeks direction to take action on the basis of his report.

3. Heard Mr.N.Chinnaraj, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.D.Gopal, learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.Gokulakrishnan, learned counsel for the fourth respondent.

4. Even assuming that the fourth respondent gave a complaint with false details, it is the duty of the Government officials to enquire on the same. Therefore, merely because the petitioner asked to appear before the Tahsildar in the above aspect, the same will not lead to any departmental proceedings. Page No:2/4

5. In such a view of the matter, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. 21/11/2022 mvs.
