Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to deposit the concerned Court of Law, the compensation amount for the acquisition of land belonging to the petitioners herein in Survey No.160/1A1 and now sub divided as Survey No.160/1A1B ad-measuring to an extent of 00217 sqm situated at No.48, Okkiyam Thuraipakkam Village, Tambaram Taluk (Now Sholinganallur Taluk), Kancheepuram District. ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents herein to deposit the compensation amount for the acquisition of land belonging to the petitioners herein in Survey No.160/1A1 and now sub divided as Survey No.160/1A1B ad-measuring to an extent of 00217 sqm situated at No.48, Okkiyam Thuraipakkam Village, Tambaram Taluk (Now Sholinganallur Taluk), Kancheepuram District.
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted a copy of the letter in Na.Ka.No.1/2021, dated 03.09.2021 stating that the compensation amount Rs.8,09,087/-, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
has already been deposited on 20.09.2007 before the Sub Court, Chengalpattu. The said letter is placed on record.
