Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records pertaining to the detention order passed by the third respondent made in his proceedings in Cr.M.P.No.34/BM/2023 dated 25.10.2023 in detaining the detention under the Prevention of Black Marketing and Maintenance of Supplies of Essential Commodities Act, 1980 (Central Act 7 of 1980) as a Black Marketer and quash the same and direct the respondents herein to produce the petitioner's husband namely Muniyasamy @ Muneeswaran, S/o.Karuppusamy, aged 43 years, (who is presently undergoing detention in the Central Prison, Coimbatore) before this Court and set him at liberty. ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH, J.) When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.(D) No.349, Co-operation, Food and Consumer Protection (E1) Department, dated 15.12.2023, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.
2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
