This petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 1376 days in filing the appeal.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Though the name of the respondents is printed in the cause list, there is no representation for the respondents.
3.Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition is ordered and the delay of 1376 days in filing the appeal is condoned.
4.It is made clear that in the event of this Court enhancing the award amount, the petitioner shall not be entitled to any interest for the period of delay of 1376 days in filing the appeal. 10.01.2025 pri Note: Registry is directed to number the appeal if it is otherwise in order.
