Criminal Original petition filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner herein.

This petition has been filed by the petitioner, to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner herein.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the Respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is an innocent and only with a view to harass the petitioner, the respondents frequently calling the petitioner for enquiry and also threatening him.

4. The learned Public Prosecutor has submitted that already a case has been registered against the petitioner in Crime No.158 of 2019 for the offences under Sections 420, 506(i) of IPC and other provisions of law, only for investigation purpose, the petitioner was called and he was not subjected to any harassment.

5. Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
