ORDER

The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal / representation dated 29.11.2021 within a time to be stipulated by this Court.

2. As against the order passed by the third respondent Thasildar dated 18.10.2021, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the second respondent on 29.11.2021. In order to consider the said appeal and to decide the same at an early date, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition.

3. Heard Mr.A.Rajakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. 2/4

4. In view of the order going to be passed in this writ petition, notice to the 4th respondent is hereby dispensed with.

5. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the said appeal filed by the petitioner dated 29.11.2021 to the second respondent would be considered and decided on merits at an early date.

6. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition and having regard to the said submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order:

That there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider and decide the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 29.11.2021 after giving an opportunity of being heard to both the petitioner as well as the fourth respondent within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
