ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No. 497 of 2021 on the file of the first respondent, registered for the offence under Section 406 of IPC.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that the investigation has been completed and the final report was filed before the XXIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai on 20.09.2023. The same has been taken cognizance in C.C.No.940 of 2024 by the Trial Court. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

3. In view of the above, this Criminal Original petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
